*NEW* Early Annuals Collection

*NEW* Early Annuals Collection

This collection was designed to celebrate light at its peak, color in its fullest expression, and the magic found in the turning of the season from spring to summer.

Soft purples and buttery yellows glow like the long light of solstice morning, while pastel peach and white reflect the quiet brightness that lingers well into evening. These airy hues are grounded by deep magentas, cool greens, blues, and shadowed purples - the richness that arrives as day slowly gives way to night. Together, they create a full-spectrum palette that mirrors the balance of the summer solstice itself.

Close your eyes and let a Wisconsin summer transport you to that suspended moment — when the sun hangs high, the air is warm and humming, and the garden feels alive with possibility.

32 cut and come again summer annuals in our hand selected *NEW* curated palette. Flowers include but not limited to: feverfew, bachelor buttons, snapdragons, stock, nigella, scabiosa and bupleurum.

Bloom time is early June to mid-July. This is when hardy annuals put on their biggest display. We often refer to them as solstice flowers for this reason. Hardy annuals will likely bloom sparsely thorught out the summer (they don't like the heat) and again as the weather cools and we transition to fall. Option to pull them from the garden in late July or keep them well watered to grow thoughout the season.

  • Grown from seed in Vermont Compost Seed Starting Mix without any chemicals.
  • Each plant will be grown on in a square 2.5" plastic container, the garden includes a full flat of 32 plants total.
  • Plants can be spaced in the garden roughly 9" - 12" apart. Plan for ~32 square feet of space or an area roughly 4' x 8' or 2' x 16' for planting. Plants can also be tucked into openings in existing sunny borders.
  • These plants will require full sun for optimal flowering. We recommend a minimum of 6-8 hours of sun.
  • Plants will require staking for straight stems.
  • If you have a smaller space, consider splitting the garden with a friend or neighbor to share the joy of flowers!
